Celtic Festival of Samhain with Stephen Pitcher
Thursday, October 30, 2025 7:00 - 8:30pm
Samhain is an important Festival that falls between the Autumn Equinox and Winter Solstice. The Cross-Quarter Festivals are liminal times as we have a foot in both seasons, and at Samhain the invitation is to let go of the energies of Fall and step consciously into Winter. Samhain is particularly important as it is the start of the Celtic New Year. The year starts in darkness encouraging us to be brave to take the first step on creating the New Year. It encourages us to rest, allowing the subconscious to work, just as we typically rest in Winter conserving energy above the ground while all the hard work is taking place underneath as old leaves, shrubs, etc. are broken down to create the environment for new bulbs to grow and manifest in Spring flowering.
Join us for this experience as we journey with the drum to allow us to step into our silence, to allow the subconscious to create, guide us and start the journey into our New Year.
About Stephen Pitcher:
Stephen has recently moved from Ireland where he studied Shamanic and Druidic practices with teachers from Mexico, Ireland, and the U.K. The Shamanic path is a nature-based Indigenous wisdom helping us to understand ourselves and rooted in compassion, simplicity, appreciation, and balance. Stephen works with individual clients and groups in healing sessions and also uses these teachings in corporate practices and coaching. He firmly believes all this work is meaningless unless it helps us as we pay the gas bill, earn a living, and nurture our relationships.
