Ancestral Healing: A Guided Introduction to Rooted Connection & Wholeness with Joseph Shumway

Ancestral connection and reverence practices are woven into the fabric of every earth-centered culture. Yet, as Westerners, we have not only lost the skill and practices of ancestor tending, but we carry many unhealed traumas and burdens of the past as a result.

Join Joseph Shumway (certified Ancestral Lineage Healer, genealogist, and ritualist) to learn basic ways to reclaim lost connection with your ancient, earth-honoring ancestors, along with how Ancestral Lineage Healing can be a powerful tool to heal intergenerational wounds and restore connection to the magical gifts of our ancestral lineages.

Participants will learn basic concepts of Ancestral Lineage Healing and how to safely work and connect with their ancestors. Joseph will also provide a guided meditative practice to help folks learn how to connect with their Wise, Loving Ancestors.

Joseph Shumway (The Ancestral Healing Coach) is a certified Ancestral Lineage Healing Practitioner, Ritualist, Spiritual Teacher, and Accredited Genealogist. He weaves together genealogy, ancestral healing, and the ritual arts to help people tend intergenerational troubles and reclaim nourishing earth-honoring spiritual practices. As a gay former Mormon, he specializes in working with queer and post-religious seekers to heal from religious harms by reclaiming ancestral connection and finding an earth-centered spiritual path.
